Luis Calderón y Martín
Luis Calderón y Martín served as ambassador to the United States for the Second Republic in 1934–1936. His Washington posting ended amid the outbreak of the Civil War. His later diplomatic service included the Spanish mission in Switzerland from 1942 to 1951. 1, 2
